Kate Romero is the founder of SDS Accent Services. She specializes in providing personalized and exceptional instruction in the American English Accent to ESL speakers. Kate has a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland. She completed her clinical fellowship as part of the LEND program at Kennedy Krieger Institute. With a background in interdisciplinary care, Kate is passionate about using an integrated approach to accent modification services. Her mission is to provide support to individuals to achieve clear, confident communication and connection with others. She utilizes traditional accent instruction strategies, motor learning principles, and applied improv to help individuals achieve their communication goals. When not working, Kate enjoys reading, playing the violin, hosting friends, and spending time with her family.
